Via New Legal and our law firm partners, we offer nimble and responsive M&A support from planning and preliminaries through to completion and beyond. For transactions below a certain level, where flexibility, speed and economy are needed, law firms can be disproportionately expensive and overly rigid. That's where we come in.
Pricing
We produce transaction documents and ancillary documents for fixed prices, estimates or on an ad-hoc basis. Our pricing model is more flexible to suit the legal, commercial and budgetary needs of our M&A clients. For example:
– Fixed/capped fees
– Estimated fees
– Declining: e.g. initial rate of £247.50/hour for X hours, and £195/hour beyond that, to align our interests
– Variable hourly rates based on risk/urgency
Hourly
– Basic support: £195/hour
– Standard (Lower Risk/Urgency): £247.50/hour
– Priority (Mid-Level Risk/Urgency): £297/hour
– Critical (High Risk/Urgency): £390/hour
IMPORTANT
Our legal team are pragmatic and experienced lawyers, including ex Magic/Silver Circle lawyers, however they are acting as "legal consultants", not SRA-regulated solicitors, via New Legal. That is because we have chosen the legal consultancy model to offer a more entrepreneurial solution to clients.
We do not facilitate transactions – i.e. we do not handle completion monies or handle the completion. We can bring on one of our law firm partners if you need representation from a law firm.
